Three children injured in single-car crash in Texas County

TEXAS COUNTY, MO — Three boys suffered injuries Thursday evening in a single-car accident near Cabool in Texas County, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities responded to the scene on Bado Road five miles north of Cabool at around 6:45 p.m.

A 2017 Polaris Ranger was traveling southbound along Bado Road when its driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel off the right side of the roadway and strike a ditch. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Three male occupants aged 9, 14 and 16 sustained moderate to serious injuries and were transported by ground and air to hospitals in Springfield and Houston. Their current conditions are not disclosed.

The driver of the Ranger, a 17-year-old male minor, was not reported injured.
