PERRY COUNTY, MO – A teenage boy was injured on Saturday when he flipped his ATV on a county road southwest of Menfro.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the unnamed 15-year-old was driving his 2014 Polaris Sportsman too fast for conditions when he lost control on Perry Country Road 322, west of Perry County Road 320. The ATV left the roadway, hit a tree, and flipped over.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene by 6:45 p.m. and transported the moderately injured juvenile to St. Francis Medical Center.
