Teen injured in multi-vehicle Franklin County collision

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – One man was taken to the hospital following a rear-end collision in Franklin County Tuesday afternoon.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of MO-47 and Clearview Road shortly after 1:30 p.m.

Officials say 19-year-old Andrew Maslin was traveling southbound on MO-47 when he failed to notice traffic had stopped in front of him and crashed into the rear of another vehicle.

Maslen was transported via ambulance to Mercy Hosptial Washington to be treated for minor injuries following the crash.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
