Suspect hits officer with car and flees the scene in Jennings

JENNINGS, MO – Authorities are searching for a driver after they struck a police officer with their vehicle, then fled the scene in Jennings Thursday morning.

According to KMOV, the crash happened in the 8800 block of Darnell Place and was reported by the news outlet at around 5:30 a.m.

The identity of the suspect, the officer, and the officer’s condition were not immediately available.

A description of the vehicle was not reported at this time.

No others were hurt in the accident.
