Summersville woman injured in rear-end collision in Wright County

WRIGHT COUNTY, MO – A 63-year-old Summersville woman was injured in a rear-end collision on Business Highway 60 on Monday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old female driver was traveling west on Business Highway 60 in a 2008 Kia Sorento. She stopped to make a left-hand turn. Brenda S. Losh, 63, was traveling west on Business Highway 60 in a 2015 Toyota Corolla. She failed to stop in time and rear-ended the Kia about one mile west of Mountain Grove around 2:35 p.m.

Losh was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The Toyota was totaled and the Kia sustained moderate damages.
