Stover driver seriously injured in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, MO – A 45-year-old Stover driver seriously injured in single-vehicle accident on Highway 5 on Thursday night.

Police report Maida Korang was traveling east on Highway 5 in a 2001 Infiniti G20 when she traveled through the intersection at Highway J. There was a heavy, dense fog in the area. The Infiniti became airborne and landed against a tree.

Korang was transported to Lake Regional Hospital. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Infiniti was totaled.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
