Several motorists figured in a rollover accident in Steele late Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on Highway NN, around two miles north of the Missouri-Arkansas state line. A 2005 Chevy Trailblazer swerved off the northbound side of the roadway, crashing into a utility pole and rolling over. The driver, a 16-year-old girl, was taken to Region One Health Medical Center for treatment. 17-year-old Darreonau Foreman and 19-year-old Kyle Spears were also in the vehicle and transported to area hospitals with undisclosed injuries. The last victim, a 16-year-old girl from Blytheville, Arkansas, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
