Stalled vehicle causes rush-hour delays on I-64

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to close one lane on I-64 as the result of a stalled vehicle during Wednesday evening’s rush-hour traffic.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the incident was reported in the eastbound lanes of I-64 at Prospect Road just after 4 p.m.

No injuries have been reported from the scene of the crash. However, officials are urging motorists to proceed with extreme caution while traveling in the area throughout Wednesday evening.
