St. Louis woman injured after vehicle hydroplanes and crashes

CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO – A St. Louis woman was injured after her vehicle hydroplaned and collided with a second vehicle Wednesday afternoon on I-70, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Laura Denneny, 30, was traveling westbound in her 2010 Nissan Versa in difficult conditions when her car began to hydroplane. At about 2:50 p.m. near mile marker 160, Denneny veered off the road and hit a 2020 Peterbuilt once she corrected and made it back on the road.

Callaway County emergency services transported Denneny to University Hospital to treat minor injuries.
