St. Louis woman hospitalized after I-270 rear-end collision

ST. LOUIS, MO – A woman from St. Louis is recovering in the hospital after a rear-end collision on I-270 Thursday evening.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the northbound ramp from I-270 to I-70 at about 3:30 p.m.

Troopers at the scene say Neverette Brakensiek slowed for traffic and was rear-ended by a 2016 Freightliner.

Brakensiek was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
