St. Louis police searching for drivers who ignored injured man lying near roadway

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the St. Louis Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a number of drivers who ignored an injured man on the side of the road. The man eventually died from his injuries.

According to KSDK, authorities discovered the man—who was severely injured—at about 11:10 p.m. on September 6th, within the 2200 block of Gravois. They rushed him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

Police believe several drivers stopped and noticed the injured man before driving off. While the injuries are being treated as accidental, the search continues for those who may have any further information regarding the incident.
