St. Louis man severely injured in Moline Acres pedestrian crash

MOLINE ACRES, MO (ST. LOUIS COUNTY) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt after he was struck by a vehicle in Moline Acres early this morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened near the intersection of Chambers Road and Lance Drive, just after 12:30 a.m.

The driver of a 2015 Ford Taurus, 39-year-old St. Louis man Brian A. Rayford, was headed westbound on Chambers when he ran off the right side of the roadway. He then struck pedestrian Herschel Turner, 54, also of St. Louis.

Turner was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe injuries.

Rayford was not reported as hurt.
