Cathleen was born in Columbia, Missouri and was raised in Sikeston, Missouri. She attended the University of Miami (FL) where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Legal Studies. While at the University of Miami, she was a member of the Honors Program and graduated cum laude.
Upon graduating from the University of Miami, Cathleen attended the University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia, Missouri where she obtained her J.D. During law school, she held numerous leadership positions in the school's premiere legal organizations. Cathleen was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for excellent achievement in the study of Elder Law.
While in law school, Cathleen attended the Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck, Austria where she studied under United States Supreme Court Judge Antonin Scalia. She gained additional legal experience by working in the Office of Chief Counsel in St. Louis, Missouri while in school.
Since joining Onder, Shelton, O'Leary & Peterson, LLC in 2010, Cathleen has represented several hundred injured parties across the country who have been injured by pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers. Her practice not only includes a high concentration of product liability litigation, but all personal injury litigation including auto accidents, workplace accidents, medical malpractice and trucking accidents.
Cathleen was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2010 and is a member of the Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Cathleen lives in St. Louis with her husband who is also an attorney.
