St. Charles man, 22, hurt in Hwy 94 head-on collision

ST. CHARLES, MO – A young man was hurt in a head-on car accident on Highway 94 Monday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of the highway, near Little Hills Expressway, at 7:10 a.m. when the driver of a 2017 Toyota Corolla crossed over the center line and into the lane of oncoming traffic. The Corolla then collided with the front of a 2010 Ford Mustang driven by 42-year-old Micky L. Flanigan, of Godfrey, Illinois.

The driver of the Corolla, 22-year-old St. Charles man Devaugh D. Harris, was taken to the hospital in St. Charles with moderate injuries.

Both drivers were reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, which caused total damage to their vehicles.
