Speeding driver injured in eastbound I-44 accident

EUREKA, MO – A 31-year-old driver crashed after traveling too fast for current road conditions on eastbound I-44 on Saturday morning.
Police report Mohamed El Khazen was traveling too fast for road conditions on eastbound I-44 when he swerved off the right side of the road around 7:35 a.m. His 2000 Ford F150 struck a sign when it veered off the road.
El Khazen was transported to SSM Health St. Clair Hospital for minor injuries.
