ST. LOUIS, MO – Authorities shut down three lanes on southbound I-55 after a crash involving a fuel truck leaked fuel on the interstate on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred on southbound I-55 near Reavis Barracks Road around 12:30 p.m., according to KMOV4 News.

Police shut down three lanes to clear up the spill for approximately two hours. All lanes were reported as reopened around 2:30 p.m.

It is unclear what caused the crash. No serious injuries were reported.
