BEAUFORT, MO – Six people, including four minors, sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash in a Franklin County intersection on Monday afternoon.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amos L. Petrie, 39, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 in a 2020 Ram 4500 when he rear-ended a 1996 Dodge Ram, driven by 37-year-old Jonna M. Hanna, at Blackberry Hollow Lane. Police report the accident occurred around 3:18 p.m.
The impact caused the Dodge to strike a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 34-year-old Michelle D. Shoemaker, that was traveling westbound on U.S. 50.
Hanna and Shoemaker both sustained minor injuries in the crash. Four juveniles, ages 8, 12, 14 and 17, in the Dodge also sustained minor injuries. All six were transported to Mercy Hospital Washington.
Both the Dodge and Chevrolet were totaled and the Ram sustained extensive damages.
