Several children injured in Texas County crash

ROBY, MO -Five children and two adults were injured in a head-on collision south of Roby Tuesday night.

According to Ozarks First, the collision occurred along Highway 17 south of Roby at about 8:00 p.m. Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Toyota Sienna carrying all five kids.

Four of the children sustained minor injuries in the crash, the fifth was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Chevrolet was also rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Details regarding what may have caused the crash remain under investigation.
