Salem woman, Illinois man injured in Crawford Co. rollover accident

BOURBON, MO (CRAWFORD COUNTY) – Two people were injured in Crawford County following a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday night, according to a crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on Interstate 44 at milepost 220.2 around 7:45 p.m. when a 2000 GMC Jimmy ran off the side of the road, then flipped over after swerving back onto the highway.

The driver, 63-year-old Lyle D. Price, of Effingham, Illinois, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur with serious injuries.

A passenger, 59-year-old Salem woman Cynthia J. Indelicato, was taken to the hospital in Sullivan with moderate injuries.

Both victims were wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred.

The GMC was totaled in the collision.
