Rush-hour crash shuts down lanes on I-64

ST. LOUIS, MO – Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to close down at least one lane along I-64 following a rush-hour accident Thursday evening.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-64 just before the exit to I-270 shortly after 4:00 p.m.

Officials have not yet reported any injuries as a direct result of the crash. The lane closures caused significant delays for early rush-hour commuters for about a half-hour.
