Rush-hour collision causes delays on I-270

ST. LOUIS, MO – Commuters in Northwest St. Louis faced delays Friday morning as the result of a rush-hour crash on I-270.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the westbound lanes of I-270 at the West Florissant Avenue overpass just after 8:30 a.m.

Officials shut down two right lanes on the interstate while the accident was investigated and cleared from the roadway. No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash.
