Rush-hour collision blocks lanes on I-64

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials in East St. Louis were forced to shut down one lane on I-64 following a rush-hour accident Thursday morning.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the westbound lanes of I-64 near the Hanley Road overpass at 7:34 a.m.

Authorities have not reported any injuries immediately resulting from the crash. However, the far left lane was closed for two hours so the crash could be safely investigated and cleared from the roadway.
