ST. LOUIS, MO – A firefighter died when a roof collapsed on him on the 5900 block of Cote Brilliante Thursday, according to KMOV.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a fire at a two-story brick building around noon. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames on the first story. As they made their way to the second story, the fire became too intense and they decided to get out of the structure.
