ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the St. Louis Police department rescued two female teenage suspects in a weekend armed from a flaming vehicle Tuesday morning.
According to KSDK, the chase began at about 9:00 a.m. near the intersection of Lindell Boulevard and Boyle Avenue. The suspects only made it a few blocks before crashing to a concrete bollard at 20th and Olive Streets. Officers involved in the pursuit managed to pull the two female suspects from the vehicle after it had burst into flames.
Investigators determined the two teens were also involved in a weekend armed robbery that sent another girl to the hospital.
No information regarding any charges brought against the suspects has been made available at this time.
