Several motorists were injured in a car crash in Poplar Bluff midday Tuesday.
At around 12:30 p.m., a car traveling west on County Road 450 swerved off the roadway and overturned around a mile west of the city center, injuring three occupants. 22-year-old Kelvin V. Rivera was driving the vehicle. He and 18-year-old Christian M. Colclasure sustained minor injuries. The second passenger, a 16-year-old Poplar Bluff resident, incurred serious injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
