Poplar Bluff man sustains serious injuries in Missouri 147 crash

RIPLEY COUNTY, MO – A 43-year-old Poplar Bluff man was seriously injured in a crash on eastbound Missouri 147 early Tuesday morning.

Police report Larry A. Crider was traveling east on Missouri 147 in a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle traveled off the road. The Chevrolet hit a utility pole around 3:25 a.m.

Crider was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet was totaled.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
