Police respond to South St. Louis crash, find car abandoned

ST. LOUIS, MO – Police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Thanksgiving morning only to find that the vehicle had been abandoned, Fox 2 Now reports.

Police received reports of a pickup vs. tree collision on River Des Peres Boulevard and arrived on the scene at 6:30 a.m. However, despite the heavy damage to the pickup, they could not find a victim.

The mystery was solved a short time later, when a passing driver informed the officers that they had happened upon the scene earlier and taken the motorist home.

The exact location of the crash is unknown.
