A teenager was killed in a bike accident in Pleasant Hope early Tuesday morning.
At around 4:30 a.m., a 15-year-old boy riding a 2001 Kawasaki KX85 dirt bike crashed into a tree at Pleasant Hope Elementary School. He sustained critical injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has been withheld pending notification of family members. No other vehicle or pedestrian was involved in the incident. Officials are currently investigating the case.
