Perryville driver sustains moderate injuries in I-55 crash

PERRY COUNTY, MO – A 45-year-old female driver sustained moderate injuries when her 2004 Chevrolet crashed into a cable barrier on Wednesday evening.

Police report Tonya Bruce’s Chevrolet traveled off the left side of southbound I-55 at mile marker 136.6 around 7:48 p.m. Her vehicle then struck a cable barrier.

She was transported to Perry County Memorial for her injuries. It is unclear why she traveled off the roadway.
