WENTZVILLE, MO – A 35-year-old Wentzville pedestrian was seriously injured after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on southbound US-61 early Thursday morning.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports an unknown vehicle hit a pedestrian standing in one of the lanes on southbound US-61 north of Highway A around 4:31 a.m. The driver fled the scene.
MSHP reports the male pedestrian was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. His current condition is unknown.
