Pedestrian killed after walking into roadway near Page Ave and Walton Rd

OVERLAND, MO – A person driving a Jeep Liberty struck and killed a male pedestrian as he walked into the roadway on the section of Page Ave east of Walton Rd, according to KMOV.

According to the Highway Patrol, the victim was Jeremy Jones, 44. First responders were sent to the area around 9:20 p.m. They pronounced Jones dead once they arrived.

The driver of the Jeep, an unidentified 21-year-old, was uninjured in the collision.

It is unclear if the driver will face any charges in relation to the crash.
