Patton driver injured in single-vehicle crash on Highway 51

PERRY COUNTY, MO – A 29-year-old Perry driver was injured after his 2009 Pontiac G5 crashed into a tree on Highway 51 on Monday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dustin R. Smith’s Pontiac traveled off the right side of Highway 51 north of Perry County Road 504 and hit a tree. The crash happened around 6:35 p.m.

Smith was transported to St. Francis Medical Center for minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

The Pontiac sustained minor damages.
