Overnight crash closes lanes on I-70

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol closed one lane following an early morning crash on I-70 early Friday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the Mississippi River bridge at about 2:18 a.m.

Officials have not released any information regarding injuries sustained in the crash at this time. The right lane of I-70 was shut down for about a half-hour following the incident.
