HILLSBORO, MO – One teenager died and two other teenagers were injured in a crash on southbound Highway B (Hillsboro Road) on Saturday afternoon.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1999 Ford Ranger lost control in a curve on Highway B and struck a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 around 4:50 p.m.
The 16-year-old driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries. A 14-year-old passenger in the Ford was pronounced dead at the crash scene and a 15-year-old passenger in the same vehicle sustained moderate injuries. Both teenagers who sustained injuries were transported to local hospitals.
Police report the Ford was totaled and the Dodge sustained moderate damages.
