One seriously injured in single vehicle car crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A man has been seriously injured after colliding with a utility pole. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:40 this morning on Highway 47 north of Kingston Road, southeast of St. Louis.

71-year-old Larry Neff was driving south on the highway in his Ford Crown Victoria when he lost control of the car and crashed into a pole.

The police report has described Neff’s injuries as serious and the damage to his car as total. Neff has been transported to a nearby hospital for his injuries.
