One person killed, two injured in Missouri 364 rear-end collision

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – One person was killed and two other people injured in a rear-end collision on eastbound Missouri 364 on Tuesday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 51-year-old Ronald M. Walker was stopped in the left lane on eastbound Missouri 364 in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox due to a previous crash. Jared S. Holtman, 28, was traveling east on Missouri 364 in a 2009 Dodge RAM and swerved to miss an animal in the road from the previous crash. The front of the Dodge struck the rear of the Chevrolet. MSHP reports the accident happened east of Harvester Road around 8:25 p.m.

Walker was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis where he was pronounced dead at 9:31 p.m. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Holtman and a 29-year-old passenger in the Dodge were treated for minor injuries at the crash scene. They were both wearing seat belts.

Both vehicles were totaled.
