One person killed in westbound I-70 crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A female driver was killed after crashing on westbound I-70 just before the Goodfellow Boulevard exit (243A) on Wednesday morning.

The driver was traveling westbound on I-70 when her 2009 Chevrolet Impala traveled off the road, hit a curb, drove over a grassy area, and struck a tree stump and chain link fence, according to KMOV4 News.

Local authorities pronounced the woman dead at the crash scene.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
