One person injured in Missouri 141 head-on collision

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A 23-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a head-on collision on Missouri 141 on Thursday afternoon.

Raymond Kolafa Jr., 66, was traveling northbound on Missouri 141 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic when he attempted to turn left onto West Outer Road around 4:42 p.m., according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. His 2010 Ford Ranger struck a 2001 Ford Mustang, driven by 23-year-old Miranda Brethold, head-on.

Brethold was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital. The Mustang was totaled and the Ranger sustained moderate damages.
