One person airlifted to hospital after Scotland County crash

SCOTLAND COUNTY, MO – One person was airlifted to the hospital for serious injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway Z on Wednesday night.

A 17-year-old Arbela driver was traveling north on State Highway Z in a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Chevrolet traveled into the southbound lanes and hit a 2006 Dodge RAM almost head-on around 5 p.m.

Lyle F. Seaver, the Dodge driver, was airlifted to Blessing Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The teenage driver was transported to Blessing Hospital for moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

Both vehicles were totaled.
