One dead, one seriously injured in St. Charles County rollover accident

WENTZVILLE, MO (ST. CHARLES COUNTY) – A man is dead and another is in serious condition after a car accident in St. Charles County early this morning , according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at 2:30 a.m. on Route Z, near Conor Court, when a 2012 Chevrolet Impala drove off the side of the roadway. The Impala, driven by St. Peters man Anthony M. Huddleston, 29, then went into a ditch and collided with a guide wire. The Impala struck an embankment and overturned.

Huddleston was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:44 a.m. by emergency personnel.

A passenger, 28-year-old Devon T. Odenbreit, of O’Fallon, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

The Impala was totaled in the collision.
