O’Fallon man injured in St. Charles County crash

NEW MELLE, MO (ST. CHARLES COUNTY) – An O’Fallon man was sent to the hospital after a crash Saturday afternoon in St. Charles County.

According to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of Callaway Ridge Drive and Highway F when a 2016 Honda Odyssey turned in front of another oncoming vehicle, a 2009 BMW F800GS.

The side of the Honda, driven by 46-year-old Foristell woman Katy McKinney, was then struck by the front of the BMW.

The BMW’s driver, 63-year-old James E. Crain, was sent to the hospital with moderate injuries following the crash. He was wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.

McKinney did not suffer any reported injuries and was also wearing her seatbelt at the time.

The BMW was totaled in the collision.
