Multiple incidents block westbound I-70 on Wednesday night

ST. LOUIS, MO – Two separate incidents blocked traffic on westbound I-70 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to KSDK, the first traffic-blocking accident was reported at the Shreve Avenue exit (245A) around 8:51 p.m. It blocked a left lane on westbound I-70.
The second was a police incident that occurred at the Union Boulevard exit (244A) around 8:11 a.m.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in either crash.
Investigations into the cause of both crashes are ongoing.
