Motorcyclist killed in two-vehicle accident on Highway 221

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle crash on Highway 221 killed one person. The crash happened at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday at the highway’s intersection with Bray Road.

The accident occurred after the driver of a Ford F150 failed to yield to the driver of a Yamaha F207. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from his vehicle.

The St. Francois County coroner declared the motorcyclist, 25-year-old Jack Cable, dead at the scene.
