Motorcyclist hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, MO – Officials in Franklin County have reported one injury following an auto vs. motorcycle collision Wednesday afternoon.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on MO-47 near East Happy Sac Road shortly before 1:30 p.m.

Investigators believe Anthony Henry, 62, was attempting to pass a Dodge minivan on the shoulder of the roadway when the van came to an abrupt stop causing Henry to crash off the right side of the road.

Henry was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington to be treated for moderate injuries.
