Motorcyclist fatally injured in MO-367 crash near Moline Acres

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO — A 44-year-old St. Louis man died Thursday evening after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Missouri Route 367 near Moline Acres, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The fatal incident happened off Marquis Court north of St. Louis in Moline Acres shortly before 8:25 p.m.

The man was riding a 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3-S motorcycle northbound on MO-367 when a 2005 Honda Accord failed to yield to the rider while attempting a left turn from Marquis Court. The motorcyclist struck the driver’s side of the Accord and was ejected from his vehicle. The crash report indicates he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the cash.

The rider was rushed to Christian Hospital in St. Louis where he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Accord, a 55-year-old St. Louis woman, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital.
