Motorcycle runs off road and crashes on Route AA

FARMINGTON, MO – A motorcyclist was injured on Tuesday afternoon after his motorcycle ran off the road, crashed into a ditch, and then overturned.

Around 1:20 p.m. on June 2, 63-year-old Ricky Webers crashed his 2000 Suzuki motorcycle on State Route AA near Village Road. Webers lost control of the motorcycle and drove off the right side of the road. The bike then struck a ditch and flipped over.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Webers sustained moderate injuries from the crash. Medical personnel air-lifted Webers to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for immediate treatment of his injuries.

The Suzuki was severely damaged during the crash, but the motorcycle was driven away from the scene after the accident.
