A motorist was hospitalized following an accident in Monroe City Wednesday last week.
At around 6:00 p.m., 24-year-old Nathan Wilson of New London was driving on State Highway A when his vehicle suddenly swerved off the roadway and crashed into several trees before stopping. Wilson sustained multiple injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. Authorities have yet to discover any possibility that other vehicles were involved in the crash and will release updates when new info becomes available.
