Maryland Heights driver injured in westbound I-70 crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 24-year-old Maryland Heights woman was injured in a crash on westbound I-70 on Saturday morning.

Hadiya J. Fleming-Sayeed was traveling west on I-70 in a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt when she swerved to avoid another vehicle, police report. The Chevrolet skidded, traveled off the left side of the interstate, and hit a concrete barrier. Police report the accident happened east of I-170 around 11:18 a.m.

Fleming-Sayeed was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Chevrolet sustained moderate damages.
