Man seriously injured in Route FF motorcycle accident

EUREKA, MO (JEFFERSON COUNTY) – A man from Robertsville was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on Highway FF, according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred near Cedar Bend at about 4:40 p.m. when Timothy E. Powers, 57, drove a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle off the side of the highway.

The motorcycle then flipped over, causing Powers to be ejected from the vehicle.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for the treatment of serious injuries and was reportedly not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.
