FLORISSANT, MO — A 41-year-old Wentzville man was injured Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 270 eastbound near Florissant, according to a crash report by Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Trooper E. R. Besserud responded to the accident along the I-270 eastbound onramp to New Halls Ferry Road at around 6:37 a.m.
The man was driving a 2015 Ford F-150 when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the end of a guardrail.
The man was transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis with moderate injuries.
The cause of crash was determined to be a mechanical failure in the vehicle.
